The 30-second rule is a communication and leadership technique that involves saying something encouraging to someone within the first 30 seconds of a conversation.
Simple. Start any conversation by saying something positive.
Few kind words, a compliment, or encouragement within the first 30 seconds of a conversation. Like, ‘You look fresh today’, ‘you are glowing’, ‘nice perfume’, ‘thank you for waiting’, ‘I hope I am not disturbing you’ etc.
This small gesture builds trust and connection. Clients, friends, or family, it works with everyone.
