This is excellent ! Boredom is the precursor of creativity. No one has ever died due to boredom. But the problem is that we find it something which needs to be removed immediately. So we divert our selves to smart phones or you tube videos.

We don't just allow our selves to get bored ! Once we do that, after a certain period of time suddenly the creativity strikes. But that latent period needs a lot of faith and patience.

I would say 'Boredom is the incubation period of Creativity.' It is growing underneath. Boredom nurtures creativity, only if we allow it to stay.

So yes, either do nothing or write. Because even if you do nothing, after a certain period of time, you will come back to writing and that too with a bang !
